INNER MIJA GUIDED VISUALIZATION

This guided visualization invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and step into the creative energy of your Inner Mija. Together, we’ll release the noise of the day, ground into the present moment, and open ourselves to joy, curiosity, and self-expression.

Think of it as setting the stage for your inner glow up — a loving pause before the brushes touch paint, a reminder that your creativity is sacred. Let this visualization guide you back home to yourself so that every paint stroke, every color, and every detail you create carries your luz, your historia, and your corazón.

CHOOSE YOUR PLAYLIST

Turn up the volume and let your Inner Mija shine. These are just options created for you but you also have full permission to use or create your own. Maybe it’s música that connects you to your Inner Mija, nostalgic beats, or a playlist that sparks pure fuerza y alegría.

Every beat is a reminder: Eres poderosa, creativa, y unstoppable.

Hit play and let the music ground you.

MORE INFO ON PALO SANTO

Light your palo santo
to clear energy and bless your creative flow

Light one end and let it catch flame for a few seconds. Blow it out gently and allow the smoke to rise. Move it around your space and set an intention.

This is your moment to slow down, savor, and be fully present before you begin creating

Pour yourself a cafecito, tea, or matcha. Whatever feels like comfort to you. Pair it with a sweet pan dulce, galletita, or chocolate to make the moment extra cozy.

Choose a cozy spot with good light. Lay down a cloth or paper to protect your table. Gather your brushes, palette, paint pods, affirmation card, napkins, and cup of water.

Step-by-Step Painting Tutorial

Your piece is primed and ready. Now it’s time to bring it to life. This guided tutorial will walk you through each step from designing your piece, mixing colors, to adding the final details that make your creation uniquely yours.
Go at your own pace, sip your cafecito, and remember every brushstroke is part of your inner glow up.

1. Base Coat:
Using the bigger brush paint a light, even base layer on large areas or the whole piece. Thin coats dry faster and look smoother. If you see streaks, add a second thin coat. Let dry. *Color Mixing Tips Below*

2. Plan your Design:
Visualize sections, use Pinterest, if needed. Lightly sketch guidelines with a pencil, or draw a motif on a scrap paper, if you’d like.

3. Details & Patterns:
Switch to the small brush for fine lines, dots, and patterns. Tip: For perfect dots, use the back of your brush as a dotting tool. Let dry.

4. Glaze:
The single pod included in your kit has modge podge inside. Using the blue paint brush apply a thin coat doing your best to avoid streaks. The modge podge looks white when applied, but will dry clear. Let dry.

5. Brush Care:
Rinse until water runs clear, reshape bristles, lay flat to dry. Use a small drop of mild dish soap, if necessary.

6. Share your Masterpiece:

Mint = Green + White

Terracotta = Orange + Red + a tiny bit of Blue

Turquoise = Blue + Green + White

Lavender = Purple + White

Warm Brown = Red + Green (or Orange + Blue)

Orange = Red + Yellow

Green = Yellow + Blue

Purple= Blue + Red

Tints & Shades

Add White for tints (pastels)

Add Black for shades (deeper tones)
